HISTORY OF THE ‘A’ FRAME
The A-frame house has its roots in ancient Japan, specifically in the traditional Minka houses that had steeply pitched roofs constructed from thatched straw. These roofs, shaped like the letter “A,” were designed to effectively drain rain and snow.
